Default Wierd Neighbour behaviour

Evening all,

My neighbour was out in the communal car parking taking photos of my car behind my house earlier. I thought this was strange but ignored it. Then decided I better go see what he was looking at.

I looked at his car and he has a scuff on the rear of it which looks like a similar colour to the paint on my car. The rear bumper of my car is all smashed in at one side and has been for 3 years ( i didnt do it) and I think he may think I have smashed into his car which I haven't. I've even measured where the marks are on both cars and the black bump strip on my bumper is lower than the mark on his car, as this is the only part I could have hit the car with i'm fairly sure i'm completely in the clear.

But why might he have been taking pictures?
Can you grass to insurance companies without any proof?
and why hasn't the guy just knocked on the door to ask me if i'd hit his car?

odd.

Neh they won't be interested in things like that, likewise insurance companies. Unless its an RTA, I think in these situations its sort it out amongst yourselves so up to him to prove it. Good luck with that
