Default Nurburgring TF 1st-3rd October

Heading down, staying Thursday night-Sunday evening. Any laps will be a bonus given the possible weather at this time of year, otherwise plenty of Bitburger and Fruh, along with car passenger laps.

Anyone else braving it?

Another 13 laps done, rain/mist/fog on Saturday, good weather yesterday once the track dried, but very busy, loads of crashes and closures. I'm now finished for the year, a total of 227 laps of the 'Ring, taking my overall total to 590. Time to clean up the 750 and think about flogging it before a possible impending move....

590 laps!

How much does that equate to in monetary terms?

A single lap is €22. You do the maths He's loaded.

227 laps is decent, equates to less than €5 a lap with the Jahreskarte not taking into account fuel, travel and other expenses. If I lived over there I'd certainly have one! Buying 25 lap tickets as and when would have made it about 3 times more expensive.

The JK does make the costs more palatable, along with treating the costs as an equivalent to holidays. Man maths, you know it makes sense

well there can only be one way you're moving and that's closer to the ring so you don't have to use a trailer to get the bike there!!
