Id be interested to find out who can supply as well, as the local paint supplier wants about £18ish as well for those 400ml cans. gets expensive when you need base colour, and the top colour. (pearl lively yellow)

seems to be the standard price then, that site i said about has base paint for £15 then you got to get the lacquer as well, all adds up to a lot really. iv got to respray the grab rail so not a large area.

With a paint code, I was wondering if halfrauds can mix it up, they can do car colours, although not sure on price, but if your only doing grab rail, you wont need too much.

IIRC, the candy colours are all multi-layer jobs.

Plastic primer
Silver paint
Transparent colour
Lacquer

The tricky bit is getting the transparent colour layer just the right thickness to match the other panels.

Ok so having gone to halfords today for some paint, they can only mix it buy eye apparently so ill leave that, iv attached a link to a place on ebay, i contacted them and they said they can do the colour i need and to look at aerosol paint kit 3 or 5. and when you pay at the end there is a note box which you need to put your bike and colour details.

hope this helps anyone. seems like a good price
