and doesnt find anything he likes...?
![]() I looked and sat on Busa, ZZR1400, Bandit 1250 Touring CBF1300, All felt odd, nothing fitted, nothing looked big enough to actually tour with.. I need to get some test rides sorted along side staring at the shineyness, but genuinely nothing grabbed me which is weird as I am so desperate to be on two wheels again. I fear I will head back down the route of Italian or maybe a shift to the darkside of a 3 pot like the tiger, but they are such a lot of money. you see, the more you ride bikes, the more it takes to turn you on.... ![]() |

I have a ZZR1200, it is great for distance, i am 6ft 2' ish very comfortable. my better half comes out a lot with me, not done very large miles yet two up, but she also finds it comfy.
I tried the Bussa, but it didn't grab me in quite the same way, not as comfortable, it also made me feel like i should be doing 150mph all the time but the 1200 doesn't. but yet it has the grunt when needed! also very good in the corners for such a big bike, went for a ride last night with a mate on his CBR and he was not able to keep up through the twisties (he has only been riding a few months i will add but still) great fun on the zzr I would have loved to get the 1400 but it was the extra cost that sent me away. I didn't test ride either as i knew i would want one it i tried it. A mate got a VFR for a Europe trip but didn't get on with it at all, he ended up getting a fazer 1000 which he felt was a much better bike all round! |

The zzr1400 wasn't big enough
![]() ![]() ![]() what were you sitting on, a half size replica???? http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www...01038368948893 here have one of these then!! BTW the Busa isn't as good to ride as the Z, PEgs ridden them back to back and finds, the Busa a bit snatchy, and the power delivery a lot more agressive than the Z, more sporty than touring. Peg has no probs touring on the Z, many many miles of it in fact. ![]()

CCM 604e is a pretty machine - I believe you had one of those Alex?

Never did see the point in any of the bikes you mentioned. Not only fugly and dull but you may as well just own a people carrier. If your gonn spend on summit like a tiger, dont rule out the SM-T...best of both worlds and some bargains to be had on last years models. |
