Default WeegieBlue's first crash

Got knocked off my bike tonight. A guy drifted out of his lane and clipped my rear wheel as I we exited a 2 lane roundabout. Only doing about 25mph but it still hurt! Bike damage was limited to left indicator and mirror, crash bung and gear change lever. The clothing I was wearing is ruined from sliding down the road and can only be described as rubbish, since my jacket did nowt to protect my arm and now has a wee hole in it. My left hip is agony as that's what landed first. Also smashed my iPhone screen

And the good news? Police car behind the idiot saw everything and the guy might be getting done for something or other. Will only be a small claim I think but at least it's non-fault.

Wont be that small a claim. You are looking at repairs to your bike plus replacement of all your bike clothing, boots gloves and helmet, all of which were/might of been damaged sliding up the road. Then there is the pain and suffering from your injuries.Get yourself seen by the doc so these are all documented.Several grands worth there if you do it properly.

I can't. I'm driving to County Fermanagh at 9am! I'll just have grimace all the way there. Its all tissue damage as I'm fully mobile , just uber achey! I'll see my doc on Monday when I get back.
