Big fan of the Daytona, not really into adventure type bikes but the tiger write up looks good.
Just out of interest what about the 2011 Speed Triple? Looks wise I can't decide if I like it or not.

The new Speed Triple IMO is fugly. The headlight unit sticks out way too far and the styling is almost Ducati like. Shame really.

I don't mind the panels around the radiator but as you say those headlights are just wrong, make me think I'm watching a si-fi movie and about to be abducted.

I have a mate who is an engineer for Triumph, he rode the tiger a few weeks ago and despite the fact he gets a seriously hefty dicount on Triumphs he went and bought a new BMW 800GS as he reckons it is the better bike all round.

The flyscreen makes a definite improvement to the look of the headlights.

Like the two new mini-Tigers. Not seen any specs for it yet. Seat height adjustable? or tank size? or torque from the 800cc lump? Reckon they will sell loads.

I'll have the road one.

The Speed Triple ... Hate the fat weird head-lights. Should have stuck with the twin bates. That bit of plastic over the top of the engine? Oh dear. That nasty silver bottom yoke? Wheres the 1200cc to make it a proper beast?

I'll have the last model with black forks and yoke, silver brembos and "classic" lights. Black n' lurvely. Unfortunately according to MCN its now a POS. With "handling" from the Ark.

I'll have to ...win the lottery!
