Default SV Touched the Floor :(

So i was washing my bike today, and was putting up on the rear paddock stand to clean the chain and re lube. So, as i begin to lift the bike with the rear paddock, the bike goes further than vertical, prompting me to try and stop it going over.

So im grabbing the top box rack and grab bar but as most people know, you just cant stop it from going. Luckily, i manage to hold it through most of its fall, and its landing is very soft.

I cant see any damage, no scuff marks or anything. Started the engine, all seems to be in perfect order, checked all lights - all okie dokie.

I feel like such a tw*t lol, is there anything else i really need to check/worth going over?

It must be the day for it. I managed to push mine off the ABBA stand earlier, which takes a special kind of stupidity.

The stand remained attached and acted like a big crash bar so no damage to the bike. Luckily the tank and plastics were all removed at the time.

I have broken one of the fittings on the stand though.

Unlucky

I almost threw a fit of rage at my paddock stand lol, cant believe what happened. I dont think it sat on one of the sides of the stand properly.

Can't tell from the pictures, but is the bike on it's side stand when you're attempting to use the paddock stand?

If you put a house brick (or similar) under the sidestand the bike is then pretty much upright instead of leaning over. I find that makes it much easier/safer to then raise it on a paddock stand on your own.
