Right guys i know this is a seriously talked about topic.
i have through process of alot of messing around have managed to finally find the my regulator is fried. battery no ign 12.80 running idle 13.5 idle with lights 13.1 holding revs at 5k 12.8 when blipping throttle light dim a little. im looking to fit a diffrent regulator to the standard one can anyone suggest a good replacement? im good with electrics an so forth. i was reading some where last nyt that the three yellow wires can go in any order is that true? cheers Ben |

Check these guys out. Ghey make pretty good after market stuff and reasonable prices. Most stuff on the shelf.

Whether my regulator is new or old, my lights have always dimmed a little when the throttle is opened. I thought that this was the regulator just doing it's job- regulating the voltage going through the system...
The Electrex reg/rec is a good unit. |
