Default Newbie saying " Hello " !

Hi All ,

I,m the proud owner of a 2000 curvy sv650s in black and thought i,d better get my **** on this forum as it looks a great place to be .

I,ve had a few bikes now ( gsx600f x2 , thundercat x2 , TT600 , F650 ) but this is the first time i,ve ridden a twin and wow she is punchy , and light very nimble reminds me of the TT600 i had very good on the twisties .

I,ve bought her as a workhorse to get me from Burnley down the M66 and into Manchester where i work and she,s doing a great job so far and i,ve no complaints .

I,ve fitted a fenda extenda as a priority after hearing about the dreaded damp front plug and she came with mini-indicators , double bubble screen and rear hugger when i got her .

Will drop the oil at some point and get some iridium plugs fitted , and she does need a new chain and sprockets .

So if you see a fella in manchester , burnley or on the M66 on a black curvy with black spada urban camo jacket and pants on give me a beep or a flash !

Cheers !

Grant

Hello!!! I had a very sexy red curvy which I replacd with a TT600, both super bikes. The extra 40 bhp of the TT was fun but it did lack the v-twin character, i'm sure you'll enjoy the sv.

Unfortunately now I have neither but i'm hoping to save for an sv1000 to kind of combine the two!

Enjoy the forum, they're a helpful bunch, if a bit bonkers at times!!!
