Ah, that has upset me rather a lot. I used to work for him and met his wife and boys many times both at the club and at his home. He was a very genuine and generous man, opening up his house regularly to everyone that worked for him, treating us to fantastic parties and getting us taxi's or coaches to and from, no matter how far away we lived. He'd even helicopter in some of the old players.

R.I.P. Tom and thoughts are with Martine, Ryan and Sean and all that knew you.

Can't say I was one of those that "knew" knew him, but it was certainly a pleasure to have shared his company and been his employee for a few years.
