Default SV1000 engine in 650 frame?

someone mentioned it to me on here and thought i would ask on here about it.

Similar has been done.

TLS in curvy, but not worth the hassle.

Cylinder offset is opposite way round between the lumps which is just the start of the problems.
Just not worth the hassle...trust me

What about increasing capacity of the current engine. I believe that a place in Bristol is offering reboring or what ever it is up to about seven or eight hundred CC. Is this worth it or does it increase the fragility of an otherwise excellent engine?

What about bolt on attachments such as turbos or super chargers for extra power? With enough disposable cash there must be plenty that can be done just for the sake of doing it?

The common one is the 700cc kit (Modified/ lightweight class mini twin)

Jayne is it JHS Racing? http://www.jhsracing.co.uk/

To add to janyes post, if your pockets deep enough you can spend a lot. There is a light weight class mini twin forsale up in Newcastle that cost £10k (including bike) to build and the engine is a motor with 3 grand of trick parts in it

Buy a bigger bike. Simple.

The sv650 isn't an expensive bike to start with so there'll be no return for anything you do. Plus you'll increase your insurance.

Save your money for petrol or just buy a more powerful machine.
