i've seen a few road kill ones on the way to work that i thought were dogs only to see that they were big foxes -the joys of the landfill sites that double as a supermarket for the vermin.

Kill a fox 'cos it ate somebody's cat? Must have been a slow cat for a start. And that's just nature FFS. Shall we kill every cat that ever ate the neighbours rabbit?

Nice to see the rural community adapting in light of the ban on fox hunting...

Although I'm not sure crucifixion is the direction the eco-mentalists had in mind...

Comparing someones's domestic pet to a wild animal prone to killing livestock and known for spreading rabies?
A bit of a stretch there innit?

No rabies here mate. And farmers proactively killing them in the countryside to protect a large number of livestock from being killed in future, is very different to killing an urban fox in a reactive manner because one cat was too slow. Foxes don't often kill domestic cats and dogs.
