John Barry has died
Jeez. We're losing a lot of greats this winter.
I'm a big fan of his work. His (non-sountrack) album The Beyondness of Things has been a favourite since it came out in the 90s. He had a trademark sound and will be missed.

A very great loss, one of my favourite composers. I'm very attached to his Born Free soundtrack but all of his work was outstanding.
