SV paint shades (99-02)? - SV650.org

Does anyone know how many different blue paints Suzuki used in their 99-02 models, I'm pretty sure mine is grand candy blue (YC2) were there anymore? Only interested in UK/EURO versions.

Reason I ask is that someone has offered me a fuel tank off of a (99) but they're not sure what shade of blue it is.

The 99 blue is the different one, there were 2 shades and the candy jay blue iirc was only for the first year of production. Yours will be candy grand blue or something like that, I don't know the paint code though.

Bugger, so it's likely his is a different blue to mine then.

Might just get this one, can you tell if this is jay blue or candy blue from the photo?

That a darker blue, mines Y7E candy jay blue, and that isnt my colour, the candy jay looks lighter. However the camera might not be accurate.
