Hi all,
I've just bought an 2000 SV650 as my first bike. I could do with a new set of tires. With so many available options i'm a bit overwhelmed. I dont want super soft tyres. Ideally i want a "good all rounder" for wet and dry days all year round. Just wondered what people recommend? (Not to expensive either ![]() Cheers |

No probs mate, im just about to get new tyres and also find it hard to choose but reading on here that most people go with the storm ultra 2's so thats what i might fit but im also looking at the conti road attack 2's but im still unsure.

avon storm 2s for me and i've found them to be very good. seem to have a decent lifespan too.
i had bridgestone bt021s before the avons and was not overly impressed with them to be honest. |

the avons are a great tyre, had 3 sets of them so far, but my local garage was out of stock when i got a gash in my tyre so i had to get a maxxis rear, but it works very well with avon front and since i scrubbed the back tyre in, not had even a small slip

Dunlop roadsmarts get my vote. The conti's are good tires I'm sure TC252 raced on them for part of the last season

COntinental road attacks, sticky, long lasting and cheap.

+1 on the Conti Road Attacks. I've had two sets now and love them.
