Firstly I have checked with Admin if it’s ok to post this up and he’s kindly allowed me to (Thanks John ).

Anyway I just wanted to let everyone know about this Group Buy and hopefully get some takers on this (it’s a good deal I reckon!)


A guy off the KTM forum is sorting out a Group Buy for 'Made to Measure' Halo Leathers.

Details are as follows:


The example deal I have been offered is based on any of their £899 + £130 for made to measure suits (so normal price would be £1029 all in).


They can do the SBK suit also but it will be + £200.

The TTC suit they can do without the Triumph Logo,


ADDED INFO:

"Suits can be ordered with or without Sponsor Logos. Suits can be ordered 1 or 2 piece. Extra £30 we can add names or nicknames or numbers on the back or hump. For £75 we can add up to 4 logo badges or £130 up to 8. Or for an extra £200 make a full custom suit...."


They also do these suits as 1 piece or 2 piece (excluding the SBK suit)


PLEASE ADD ON UK POSTAGE DELIVERY = £12, unless of course you want to go to Horesham, WEst Sussex and collect the suit yourself!

''I have a very good in depth measurement chart which people can fill in it works very well. For payment, I will need everyones email addresses and just forward them the invoice to pay via the email and they can pay by credit debit card. Once everyones has gone through I can get the discount and all suits ordered. Go to Triumph675.net and type in halo group buy and you will get an idea of how it works.

14 people have already signed up so it's looking promising and the suits themselves look fantastic! I think the organiser wants to hold out until we have at least 20 people, which means a Made to Measure + Customised suit for £649!

The forum has several colour schemes, the old one that some die-hards stick to has a white background, hence yellow text = blind

Good luck with the group buy, I'd be in but I already have an unused made to measure set from one of the triumph group buys

Hello mate

I wanted to speak to Pete (the organiser off KTM forum) first before replying

The consensus seems to be wait till we have 20people then put the orders through, which involves getting measurements + payments from everyone before Halo start making the suits.

Then its a 4-8weeks for the suits to be made, so realistically I dont think you'll have your leathers in time for your Track Day

Pete said he do a total of how many peops if we have enough he'll ask Halo if we were to put you first on the list, how long will you have to wait for your leathers...

In my experience you are very unlikely to get them in time, HALO are quality but they weren't the quickest, and they get manufactured in the order of folks on the list

But you don't want to use them on your first trackday, one guy off the 675 forum used them to good effect by sliding down the track, expensive but they did the job and saved his hide

i was going to say Lone_wolf that i'll probs have loads of questions for you on how your group buy all planned out in the end. Useful contact!

DevsTa can you put my name down and put me as 15+. I was going to be in the market for a set of leathers later in the year anyway and these look really nice.
