First up it's for a K9 Gladius. I want to upgrade the bouncy bits and am thinking maybe new kit would be nice. (I'm the polar opposite of midas when it comes to anything 2nd hand, all I touch turns out to be sh...)
The gsxr 600 K6 and up is a pretty straight drop-in (for some) from what I can gather but I've been looking at Hagon and Nitron as well. I'm not looking fro race prep just a decent rear shock, hopefully to be followed up with something for the front. (Suggestions welcome) Wondered what opinions were on the two makes, one better than the other, pretty much the same... Are there others I should be considering? Cheers. |

I have a Nitron and I love it. Expensive, but great.

Didn't someone on here lend Hagon their Gladius so they could develop their shock for it?

Thumbs up for hagon. Couldn't believe the difference in handling after fitting it (with k tech springs up front)
I would imagine nitron, hagon, ohlins ect are 100% better than the standard shock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

What Nitron/Hagons do you have fitted? I'd probably be looking at the basic model.
Hagon http://www.hagon-shocks.co.uk/catalo...?partno=M63071 Nitron http://www.nitron.co.uk/nitron09/ind...roducts_id=530 Yep, someone did lend their bike to hagon as a test bike, I think they got the shock for 100 quid. Couldn't do it meself as I'm in Spain ![]() Last edited by chilli; 08-03-11 at 08:51 PM. |

difference between the Hagon and the Nitron.
Hagon has nickel plated steel body and around £300 inc vat and postage. Nitron are anodised ally and around £360 inc vat and postage. both are rebuildable. if at some stage you decide to sell either then Nitron have a good resale value. |

We have sold a couple of Nitron shocks for the Gladius now and one lad who we support in minitwins on a Gladius uses the full race shock. Very good product IMHO.
If anyone wants a Nitron PM me as can do you an ORG friendly deal. |
