Default Recent A90 lorry crash

Some of you may heard about this, a lorry carrying cement overturned around Aberdeen causing major disruptions:

There's onboard footage from the crash: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LK9-Ikcu0sY

I don't know that junction but it's usually a pretty hard turn to go down a slip road the wrong way. Not to mention the signs and road markings you would need to ignore.

Looks like the lorry drivers reactions saved that girls life.

It's here: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&so...01929&t=h&z=16

Looks like if you "just" change lanes on the slip road, you're heading south instead of north.

Blooming heck

She is one lucky driver man. What a fright those lorry driver must have got to see a car coming towards them in the wrong direction.

Wouldn't like to see her insurance quote next time she gets behind the wheel which is hopefully a long long while away. Will she need to re-sit her test again? Surely that kind of dangerous driving will carry a banning. She could have caused death by dangerous driving!!

Lucky indeed.

Dunno why would you change lanes in the first place, but the road markings tell you which lane to use: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&so...129.5,,0,18.62

Maybe her sat nav was telling her a similar thing as those google directions - "Keep right at the fork and merge onto A90", and she got the forks mixed up
