Best bike for doing LeJog... - SV650.org

...and when I say best, I mean worst, most unsuitable bike you can think of!

If you were talking about doing a lands end to john o'groats trip with your mates (like I have

) what bike would you choose? Keep in mind you want it to be a bit of a challenge,so that rules out GS1200s or normal road bikes because wheres the fun in that? I think 1 of my mates is leaning towards a full on piece of crap thats guaranteed to break down,to add to the "fun"

Ideas we've come up with so far are monkey bikes and honda c90s, both of which I think are going to be too expensive to get hold of. Or scooters

we'll call that Plan B shall we?

So mighty org, any suggestions for what you would use? Preferably around the £500-750 mark and the more ridiculous the better!

Oh and my mates dream of doing it on a monkey(ish) bike could still be alive!

A few guys on the local forum did the perimeter of Scotland on C90's last year to raise money for charity. They're doing another one this year I think.

I'd go for some kind of 125 two stroke for pure fun

CG125, you could probably sell them after if they're still running for the same money you first paid for them.
