Tail unit attachment
One side of my tail unit seems to be loose but I can't find where it should be attached - do I need to get the cowling off?

il be the first to be a d*ck and say, i think this is in the wrong section!
...but, yes on mine 08 pointy. there are 4 black pins on the underside of the tail, 2 on each side. 2 bolts under the seat cowl an a further 2 bolts that you have to take the rider seat off to get to. |

to get the rider seat off you need to remove the side panels just below the seat, then you can get to the bolts that hold the seat in (one on each side) and it just lifts out.
but like i said, thats on a faired 08 pointy. |
