Smile USD UPGRADE STARTS TOMORROW!!!! Any quick heads up on issues I may come up against?

Basically as the tittle suggests. I'm beginning my USD fork upgrade first thing tomorrow morning. Just wondering if anyone can give me any ideas if any issues I may come across.

N.B

I have a complete front end from an 07/08 GSXR 1000 (Black and Gold forks)
Front wheel is from a 06/07 GSXR 600/750

Alot of people ask why some people do this mod. Personally, for me, it's to get rid of that massive dip under heavy braking we get but mostly because it's goona looks the tits!

Security bolts on ignition switch may be PITA.
May be other ignition switch based woes on installing it in new yoke.

Clipons may be too low for fairings.

What's PITA?

If the clipons are to low, how do you fix it. I guess by buying something like Giles Variobars right?

Cheers

as said get the proper security torx bit for the ignition.

bars use tl1000 ones and it just so happens that there is a set for sale.

be quick as they are like hens teeth.

you might also find that the ignition rubs in the steering stem.

This upgrade has put me closer to the ropes than first thought (I'm very inpatient and impulsive so in an effort to get the kit I wanted asap I purchased from California.) Completely didn't account for the import duty VAT and clearance fees...

Rookie mistake I know, hope someone reads this before making the same mistake. So...

Before I part with anymore cash are my clip ons definitely gonna be two low and will all the Gixxer controls fit on the TL1000 clip ons?
