Basically as the tittle suggests. I'm beginning my USD fork upgrade first thing tomorrow morning. Just wondering if anyone can give me any ideas if any issues I may come across.
N.B I have a complete front end from an 07/08 GSXR 1000 (Black and Gold forks) ![]() Front wheel is from a 06/07 GSXR 600/750 ![]() Alot of people ask why some people do this mod. Personally, for me, it's to get rid of that massive dip under heavy braking we get but mostly because it's goona looks the tits! ![]() |

Security bolts on ignition switch may be PITA.
May be other ignition switch based woes on installing it in new yoke. Clipons may be too low for fairings.

If the clipons are to low, how do you fix it. I guess by buying something like Giles Variobars right? Cheers |

as said get the proper security torx bit for the ignition.
bars use tl1000 ones and it just so happens that there is a set for sale. here: http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=166224 be quick as they are like hens teeth. you might also find that the ignition rubs in the steering stem. Last edited by Bibio; 10-05-11 at 07:05 PM. |
