Brake lines/bits and bobs

Now that uni is finished (sort of....) for the summer I've finally got around to doing some of the jobs on the SV that've needed doing for months.


New rear tyre, new caliper seals all round and new s/s braided lines.








Drilled out the lower rad mounting stud that the ham fisted b*gger who had the bike before me had snapped off. Replaced it with a bolt which will shortly be replaced with a s/s allen bolt, washers and nyloc nut.



Cleaned, rust treated and Smootherited a few brackets while I was at it.



Got fed up with the warped and leaky OEM clutch cover so replaced it with a nice new billet alloy one from the states along with s/s allen bolts for the engine casings.



Hopefully this winter when the weather gets too bad to ride I shall get the rear subframe, all bracketry and wheels off to the powder coaters.

Nice. I really like those Woodcraft covers. Might even invest in one myself one day

They are nicely made pieces of kit. Just couldn't be doing with the oil leaks from the old plastic item. I never got charged any import tax on it either.

Shame they don't make those clutch covers for the K3 onwards, love the look of it. Nice work mate
