Default Yay, finally got my shed finished off.

Well, when I say finished, I guess I mean waterproof as it still needs an entrance ramp sorting, the other 3 sides staining and some electrics running to it but as a starter for 10 its now felted.

It now houses my bikes (and my wife's Burgman)

A quick outside shot when I was testing out the stain I'd got for it:

Looks lovely down the garden there I like blue.

I'm chuffed anyway, quite a productive day, felted the roof, swapped the side the door is hinged on, trimmed the bottom of the door so it doesn't foul the driveway oh and secured the three roof panels together so it didn't move so much when I was on top of it, a little scary heh.

Very nice, now go and wash those bikes, I've seen cleaner courier bikes than those. There's 5 hours left till it gets dark, hup hup hup.

Thanks, just you aren't allowed to look at any recent pics of the construction, its hardly up to your standards Didn't get to use adhesive for the felt as I went at it today without much thought after having waited 3 weeks for the rain to stop coming down for a day or two. Decided just to get it sorted in a few hours of sun so I hopped up there and nailed it down as best as I could, I put a shed load (ha ha) of nails in there though. Hopefully it will stay alright long enough.

Yup, the CBR125 was my old bike that my stepson was using for a time. Needs a service and flogging
The curvy was going to be a bribe for if he finished his uni course but that didn't happen so I need to get it back into order and flog it too, no point in having them sat around.

My plan for the shed and the curvy though is to put into practice the things that I've seen YC do to my bike that I daren't do myself hehe.

I reckon there's maybe £2k between them when sorted so I've got some incentive and I've got the place now, gonna drill through where two roof panels meet (because there are two crossmembers there) so I can hang a sling to hold the front ends of bikes up, save getting a headstock stand.

Must stop browsing ebay for bike lift benches though, might be a tad overkill Also need to stop rambling, I'm just so chuffed to have it usable now.

Seriously mate, nout wrong with your work there from what I can see and it serves it's intended purpose, top work.

I suggest making a track bike from the curvy, sell the fairing and put track fairing on it

One thing to be careful of with nailing the felt down, it's normally where the leaks / problems start.
Just keep an eye out for any curling up of the felt cos once water gets in it will rot that in no time.

Sweet Just make sure you keep the door locked when you're not there, you may find a family moving in, it's bigger than my house lol.
