no, you get chrome, plastichrome and temporarychrome, generally they use the last two, I hate these things with a passion, OK they are cheap and are designed to catch the eye of the 17 year old looking for some "bling", but I've seen maybe 20 of these things and the conversation is always the same.

Punter "I've just passed my test so am looking at a bigger bike, what's this worth?"

Me " year old chinese thing, finish going (badly) bearings on their way out, £5-600"

Punter " but I paid £1,400 for it new"

Me "yeah well if you'd greased it when new and protected the cheap finish from new, it might have been worth a grand".

I hate disappointing anyone about bikes, but buying one of these things normally guarantees it'll happen, quite frankly it's a bit of a liberty calling them weatherproof

Well this turned up at the Fenman show in Norfolk last year.........note the steady flow of oil to suppress the corrosion.

I've seen worse. There used to be one that did the rounds at the rallies years ago, think it was called 'the missing link' or something. Always won the Rat Award, every square inch was covered in an orange flake, with bits bolted on that really shouldn't be on a bike to hold it together.
One year it was such an eyesore it got its own tent! Or was that to protect it from the weather?
