Default Nuts and bolts needed. Please help.

Hi everybody, im new to the forum but im hoping some of you can help me.
I recently bought a SV650 (2001) engine that im hoping to rebuild and use in a go cart. When i got the engine i was told it was complete, which is was, just minus most of the bolts!
Im trying to build the engine back up and get it running but i need to somehow get hold of all the missing nuts and bolts.

Im looking for an assortment of all the bolts, inside the engine aswell as outside. If anyone can help please let me know and i can send some money your way.Any help is appreciated.

Rob.

Try Pro Bolt. They do stainless, or titanium engine bolt kits for the sv (external engine bolt kit) but not sure about the internal bolts though.

Pro-bolt are also hideously expensive.

All you are needing is fairly standard nuts, bolts and fasteners.

Thank you for your quick reply guys. Yeah i have seen the Pro-bolt kits but they are very pricey, im just after the standard nuts and bolts. My hope was that someone might have stripped down an engine for parts and still had all the loose bolts and fastners or just some of them? Even just having some extra bolts, or whatever someone has kicking around would be a great help. If anyone has anymore ideas then please let me know, i can send money through paypal straight away. Im also looking for a water pump and housing, as the one i have is cracked! :/

Thanks again. Rob.

Go here figure out what bolts you need then buy them online via ebay, or go to a local workshop/engineering store and get them.

i was just asking, are the cylinder heads off? coz those long bolts will be oem only and probably a few others.

If the cylinder head is off your looking at head gaskets too, are you sure this is a good engine?

Btw I probably have the long bolts in the garage I will need to look if I have a full set

What other bolts are you after as I have a spare engine I use as a donor to nick bits off when Im building an engine.
