the fact I am a bloke aside, it reminds me of my colleagues fiance who forgave the man who killed her daughter whilst DUI..... takes an awful lot to reach that place..

She is a fool, if the shoe were on the other foot the male would not have given her a pardon. All credit to her for being a better human being but it wont change a countries laws and the man is a very lucky individual. The courts should order him to look after her for the rest of her life.

I have not, and never will, forgive the guy that crashed his car while DUI and then ran away and left me believing I was paralyzed in the back of the car.

Oh my dear god, just saw the vid.

An Iranian woman blinded and left seriously disfigured after having acid thrown in her face has pardoned the man responsible, state television has reported.
Majid Movahedi threw acid in Ameneh Bahrami's face in 2004 after she refused his offer of marriage.
A court hearing in 2008 backed her call for qisas, a rarely-used form of retributive justice in Sharia law.

She should have made sure her face was the last thing he saw before he went blind ...
its things like this, that i think sharia law is a just law.
