If I'm wrong then forgive me but it seems the one on e-bay is a full system and the other is just a slip on. Though that e-bay one looks like a better deal as it is nearly the same price as the slip on, it's coming from Italy. That means HM Revenue & Customs will actually rape you for import tax and VAT.

The Mivv GP for the pointy is a 3/4 system. Not quite a full system but more than just an end can.
You re-use the stock front header and, I think, the rear stub. Everything else comes with the cans. No cutting of the stock pipework required. It looks like both links are for the same product. Would you get hit for tax when it's coming from an EU member state? I've only ever been charged for stuff coming from the US. |

No import tax to pay, as its being sent from Italy, part of the EU

If there is no import tax as it's from the EU, will he still get charged the VAT? |

Not until we decide to leave Europe, will import duty & VAT be charged for this kind of transaction. Its only stuff outside the EU where you still have to pay the charges, such as stuff from the USA

I learn something new everyday. In my opinion you will be better off buying form the UK trader. It's only about an extra £17 quid and for that, you know you can chase them down if anything goes wrong. It will just be more of a hassle sending it back to Italy if there's anything wrong.

Although having seen an Mivv exhaust on a Pointy it looked well made, fitted well, and I'm pretty sure it was bought from an EBAY seller in Italy?
