Default VAG Comm - got one I can borrow?

As per title. I've got an airbag fault on my Skoda Superb caused by me unplugging the connector whilst ignition was on. Doh!

I need a VAG Comm to reset it and the main stealer rates are stupid.

I'll pay in beer or sweet lambrini, which ever you prefer.

surely a standard fault code reader that connects via the canbus port will read and clear the fault

the tiger might classed as a bus.

A std fault code reader should be able to give you the code

A bus being one of those things that remain resolutely upright?

Or a bus that can manage three figure speeds across country?

Still don't have a standard fault code reader though.

Pete if you fancy I little drive down to SE London I can sort it for you.
If it was only a case of disconnecting with the ign on then all you need is to clear the fault to turn the light off. You don't really have to do it with the vagcom, any comp with the capabilities can sort it.

Pete

I have Launch Creader V, which I have used to look at and clear eodb2 fault codes. You are welcome to give it a try. But it needs to be this weekend as I am going to Morocco for 2 weeks on Monday. I think the Skoda is EODB2
