MW3 - did you stand out in the rain?

MW3 who was sad enough to queue at midnight?

I did but only because my brother convinced me it would be a giggle to book the day off work. So far tonight i've stood out in the drizzle 15mins waiting for him to pick me up. 20 mins queued to collect my game (blockbusters) and a further 5mins walking round the outside of the shopping centre to then wait another 45mins (outside Game) and he is still in the queue.

Just popped to Tesco in my "Lunch" break and picked up a copy.

I finish work at 7 so do I go home and sleep or go home and play a few games??

Well, after a while longer (almost 1hr 20mins after i got mine) my bro got his copy & after getting home, playing x1 mission we tried going to lobby & playing a few games.
Thus far we have not been able to play any tdm etc together, kicking at least x1 of us out

I think this happened at the launch of mw2 and took a couple of days to level out.

The special ops & private matches are working fine.

Gonna call it a night but I'll be on in the morning (later today) Tuesday.

Didn't queue as I'm way too old to be doing crap like that but I've pre ordered and it better come today or somebody at amazon is gonna get beaten.

Yep, I have decreed I am too.

The little 'un waking me up to put the tv on watch Pokemon before going to school just adds weight to the argument.

I tend to find with preorders I get them a day or two early. I had Halo Reach and Gears 3 a day early, Forza 4 two days early. A friend tells me she's had MW3 since Saturday, due to independent games shops in Scotland selling stuff as soon as their stock arrives, release dates be damned!

Besides, midnight launches mean a glamorous venue like this and a charming ceremony like this.

Pfffttt..... BF3 is the way forward, Cod is just plain boring now.
I was playing COD1 and 2 on the PC Manny moons ago before all the hype.
Its just the same crap now on different maps they need to make a new engine to change the user experience..
flying helicopters, jets and tanks across huge maps and being able to demolish buildings is what its all about.
You probably won't get the same experience as you do on a pc but I would suggest renting it for a week from blockbuster and see what you think much more fun than cod.
And you can work in squads with your mates. up to 5 people can get in one chopper n stuff its brilliant.

After seeing trailers for BF3, I'm seriously thinking of getting it, looks brilliant.
