Bike went down at night on muddy farm track.

Insurers will write off but if I can get her back on the road cheaply I'd prefer to go that way and keep the no claims bonus.

When you say a unit.... what exactly are we talking about? Sorry if I sound thicker than usual, I'm still a bit knocked about.

BTW co-incidentally I had a street trip R for a year with a few mods , at that time supply had not caught up with demand and I got back what I paid. Despite that, still regret doing it, but then again I regret selling all of them over the years, dogs included.

meanwhile... the main problem is the fuel tank which has taken a worse beating than I thought. Not many curvy ones around, either battered or very expensive.

most are buy now with best offer so the prices are flexable

ta mate had a look on fleabay, I'm pretty much sorted now except for round headlight and tank decals.

EDIT: Someone on here (Puny) has offered a headlamp which looks like it will do the job so just decals now.
