As some may know the superduke is requiring some work, part of that is new wheels, now I've got a new (2011) rear wheel which comes in a default gunmetal grey colour, but couldn't find a decent front, so ended up with an RSV factory one (needing some custom spacers that will be on there way soon), which of course is a lovely bright right colour, the originals were black on the 08 model.
this leaves me with a choice at this stage, red, grey or black wheels ? as the left panel has some damage and I'll be repainting it (white again with orange decals) sometime later, I'll be switching to the black spare set of panels for the time being. I've done a quick mockup, to be honest I don't mind any of them, but obviously either the grey or red only requires me to paint one wheel, come summer I'll probably get both done black anyway, so it's really on for a few months. ![]() Opinions ? Cheers Mark.

whilst I'll freely admit the bike is a tad over macho, I doubt the addition of SAS pink wheels would be in keeping, the addition of a machine gun however......
as useful as I'd expect ..... ![]()

the originals as I said were black and came with factory fit orange rim tape, in the summer I plan to go that way again, but will probably get them pinstriped in oranage, I've looked at orange wheels, but to be honest I think at this stage I'd prefer to spray just one or if I'm going to do the two then that would be black.
Cheers Mark.

The red is cool, but also a bit flashy. The Duke is all about OTT though, so flash isn't a bad thing. If it was my bike, I'd go for black, purely because I don't do flashy, but if I saw it on someone else's Duke I'd think red was cool (in a garish way). I bet that was no help, so let me add: grey is boring!

black if you are gonna do them anyway in the summer or dont bother and wait till the summer and save the aggro of painting them twice and do the whole lot in one go.
I like the grey as it looks good and only requires one wheel painting which could be done now. The only option requiring less effort would be to leave them as is..keithd..( see where I'm going with this.. but then again I dont have very good taste in colour co ordination)
