Hi All

Had a 2-3 year sabbatical from biking... It started when I got a free car for commuting (warm), then got the kit car so that the mrs would come out in it (she doesn't, but the car's great). The bike's battery died, then the MOT expired, and somehow 2 years went by!

Moved to Leeds now, so on the edge of the Yorkshire dales. Also got an old uni mate over in Liverpool who's got a speed triple so now seems a good time to get the SV back on the road.

Just ordering a service kit, getting the wheels off for new tyres and should be back on the road within a few weeks.

So I may be lurking around these forums a little more this year!!

Like the avatar of the SV on the tail lift, that's how mine came down from Scotland when we moved house, strapped down in the back of a 7.5 tonner, and surrounded by all the soft packages such as duvet pillows and the like. I did make an attempt to ride it down one weekend, but an hour into the journey I took an unplanned excursion into a farmers field as the result of black ice.
