Default My Big(ish) Bike Project! *PICTURES!*

Good morning to you all on this freezing friday morning.

I have completed my motorbike project just a couple of days ago. I was gonna put up better pictures when I get the time and of course when weather permits, but I'm so happy with the final look that I decided to just post what I have.

I'm only going to post a few pictures of it completed, but I've also got a ton of pictures going back on the progress and all the work done to it.

Bike before:

Bike in progress:

Hangers/footpegs, removed and thoroughly cleaned with white spirit

Sanded down using medium grade sanding paper, then fine grade sanding paper

Now degreasing, ready for layers of primer to be sprayed

After a couple of layers of primer (notice the masking tape to block exposure of selected areas)

side panels after couple of layers of primer (post prep)

After couple layers of sating black spray and clear coat spray

Three pieces restricting my bike - Removed!

My previous light set up: 6x LED per sidelight and white/blue coloured H4 bulbs

List of things from before to after:
No longer 33BHP (special thanks to TheRamJam, jewkc and rictus01)
Fabbri double bubble screen (light tint)
colour coded brake and clutch lever with adjusters
sporty mirrors
Blacked out sidelights
clear indi lens & orange bulb
R&G tail Tidy
Almond coloured vinyl, designed cut and applied
yoke protector
fuel tank protector
break reservoir cover
Halo/Angel eyes and HID projector beam
hangers and rider/passenger foot pegs sprayed black - incl gear lever, rear brake lever and exhaust hanger
resprayed plastic cover underneath rider seat (both sides)
Stebel Horn
tax disc holder
(that actually looks decent and not rusty and crappy like the original one!)

Oh, and photography done by me

R&G tail tidy fitted

New lights, put in place and ready to bake

Final stages: bike put back together - new screen, mirrors etc

Masking tape applied to area where I would design the vinyl

Felt tip pen used to draw out the design of the vinyl

First piece of vinyl applied... success!

One side done, time to test the new lights!

Bike finished! (more pictures below using my DSLR)

I'll be honest, I absolutly love that abstract decal. WELL DONE!

The rest of it is some relativly low cost tasteful mods... good work

Thanks, I was hoping it wouldn't go down as chavy!

By the way, I am saving all the templates that I have cut out for the decals and I don't mind sharing my designs with those that want it :P
