Default Pointy inlet cams - where from?

Hi all

I'm looking to put a set of pointy inlet cams in my 2000 curvy thats done a mere 4500 miles from new :0)

Already have a ART carbon can and k&n filter wuth the tank spaced up, now want to fit cams and get dynoed / jetted.

Can anyone point me in the direction of some new cams at good prices please?

Thanks

Jim

Suzuki dealers sell Suzuki parts.

Your not wrong, looks like they know the score, cant see how an inlet cam is twice the price of an exhaust cam but thats what I keep being quoted, in the region of £170 for inlet but only £80 for exhaust

Someone is having a giraffffeeeeeee.

SO are there any "legitimate" dealers or are they all on the crook wagon?

Failing that a good used set of inlet cams.

Who does? I suppose shoplifting would be cheaper.

Has anyone tried to regrind the OEM cams for a different profile or does everyone just swap out the OEM cams for the later ones?

Hi Mitch,

I doubt the old cams will go as from what I knwo the pointy cams are higher lift, which means more material between the cam shaft rotational centre line and the very top of the lobe, if the material aint there in the first place you aint gonna magic it.
