Default My New SV1000 with gixxer front

I thought I'd post some pics of my SV1000. The pic below is as the last owner left it;

and this is with some tweaks of my own, powder coated the headlight surround and brackets. Added Renthals, bar end mirrors and shorty levers....

That's proper smart. What did you have to do, to use the SV mudguard ?

I should really fit the same front end that's been sat in my garage for 18 months.

I can't claim to have done the work - but the previous owner made up some brackets to retain the original m'guard.

I'll take some pics if you like.

And thanks Cymraeg_Atodeg, I'm already a member of the thou forum - it's a great site, I like the org as it has a 'closer to home' feel with more UK users.

Arghh .. meant to dig out your helmet and check it out today but ended up messing about trying to figure out if the R1 throttle mod made any difference. Just been told we have an appointment at school at 7 but shouldn't be long. You heading back to wales that evening ?

Jay. Pics of your brackets would be good mate.
