I'm going away for a long weekend and there is free parking for bikes....
Would you leave the bike locked in the car park there? |

I left mine at Gatwick a couple of times. Luckily I parked it where the roof was low and it was in pretty much good view.

Airport car parks are probably safer than having it parked at home
total cctv coverage, 24hr security guards I'd leave mine, with a disc lock |

Free motorcycle parking is available in Red Car Park in the Short Stay Car Park- as well as zone Q in the Long Stay Car Park.
Motorcycle parking is free in the designated bays in Zone Q of the Long Stay Car Park. Motorbikes must not be parked elsewhere. http://www.stanstedairport.com/stati...p_1024x768.gif

That does assume the cameras are working and the guards are paying any attention whatsoever. If you have reasonable secure parking at home I'd leave the bike there.

Id leave mine there.I leave it in parking bays in London where it is much more at risk of theft or damage.I have left it in a car park in Portsmouth and gone off on a ferry to Spain, and plenty of other places.Unless you ride very nickable bike I would just do it.

Big lock and chain then .
Don't go like a nut in the 50 mph bit as they float about even at 3am
