Not as bad as Frank Thomas, not good either.

Dig around behind the sofa for another £20 and get a pair of halvarssons

I got some Halvys summer gloves from here , nice gloves and good service. Note they don't stock all the gloves in the shop, but they'll get them for you in a day or 2. They have a "VIP" scheme which gives 10% off the first online purchase, but they gave me that off in the shop anyway.

Plenty of Halvys gloves in the £40-50 bracket. You really need to try for size though, I always end up needing a larger size just to get fingers/thumbs long enough.

Spada Gloves are worth a look, i have both summer & WP versions for 5 years, and both are still in good condition. It's comfy too.

I was looking at the Spadas. I have a pair of the Enforcers which have been excellent for wet and winter use so I've been considering some of their summer gloves.

My brother got a pair of duchinni 477 (pictured) last year and ive had a borrow and they are a really nice glove, fit well and soft and cumfy (sp?) but i think they were replaced by the stig model and i haven't tried those sorry. I have just got a pair of tuzo tzg10 which are also a tidy glove and only issue i have is the elastic in the wrist seems a bit tight but hopefully that will give a bit. HTH

Right, I've bought a pair of the Duchinni gloves. For 20 quid they have to be worth a punt. If they look too poorly made or flimsy, well, I shan't be too sad at that price.
