Micron system mounting?
have managed to source a micron system for my curvy at a good price,
Not sure if it is a hi level or mid or what. I bears the legend 'not for road use' on the end of the can. should be fruity then now looking to remove the rusted on stock system and replace. The micron system came complete with a mounting plate, and i'm wondering what it is supposed to bolt onto, looks like there might have been another plate there; perhaps i am missing something. any pictures of a system fitted up or suitable advise welcomed Last edited by sicknote; 25-05-12 at 08:34 AM. |

Re: micron system mounting
If it is an high level system, the bracket bolts to the rear subframe behind the plastic tail piece.

Re: Micron system mounting?
on closer investigation the provided bracket attaches to the rear brake res mount. much dremeling of corroded beyond repair fasteners later the micron sytem is fitted, looking very tidy, sounding *a lot* better than any of the three slip on cans i've tried so far, not too loud really, and the bike seems rather more willing also. recommend !
