I have just heard the best collective noun an ostentation of peacocks. Is that the most descriptive one ever?

What about an Obliviation of Orgers? That about sums up last Saturday night for a group staggering about a field after too many cans of fizzy pop.

an intrusion of cockroaches always seems apt.

Must admit I hadn't spotted and didn't know the Peacock one though, that is quite possibly the best

I learned a few today too, this was on reddit this morning:

There are some corkers on there. I particularly liked a bloat of hippotamuses and a smack of jellyfish
