generally pannier rails aren't used on the SV as the sidepods are robust enough for soft panniers, however I have fitted a givi set and hard cases, the system comes in three parts, the first is rails, the second is the base plate (rack) and the third is the pannier rails, the only problem was the pannier rails couldn't be fitted alone as they mounted on therack supports , the end result was a 48ltr topbox and two 36ltr panniers, this was all on a 2007 Sv650s, as far as I'm aware the bodywork is the same, but you'd have to check.

Cheers Mark.

They are getting rare, you could try SW motech, they used to do a kit, which took most popular boxes, Givi did a rail kit, but are no longer manufactured. PL529 was the part number, only fits to a monorack so you will need one of those as well!!

I was looking for some as well. No joy finding UK suppliers on the net. There were some on europe ebay from Spain. But i managed to source the rack for the topbox easily and then managed to find a UK seller selling the pannier rack for an SV1000 which fitted after i got a second hand left footpeg assembly...Bikes now got a V52 topbox and V42 Keyless panniers on. Looking really good and loads of storage.
