Hi,
My SV650s occasionally cuts-out when coasting towards junctions / lights etc. When I get neutral and re-start the bike it fires up straight away and trundles on as if nothing had happened. It alsmost feels like it stalls like it is running badly or something. It happens when the bike is fully warmed up as well as when its cold. It's a 2001 with full service history, new(ish) plugs, good running order etc. etc. It's got no mods apart from the plugs and a few other bits (HID bulbs, screen, brakes etc). Recent MPG is 54 and there are no other noticable engine problems (yet!). This happened loads when I first got the bike (spring 2011) and then stopped, but it's just started again... Any thoughts / comments / advice much appreciated!! |

should be around 13-1400.
to adjust, on the lefthand side under the tank through the frame is a small knob, clockwise speeds it up anti-clockwise slows it.

Yeah it's at about 1000 +/- 50 - I'll tweak it up a bit.

OK - sorted, it's settling at about 1400 now. I'll see how it goes & if it cuts out again!
Thanks! |
