So as we all know my medieval thunderace (as Si likes to call it) uses more oil than petrol.
Well when I got back today I thought I'd stop being lazy and actually have a look. As I've said before small leak just below gear linkage, no problem just a gungy mess so no major leak there, a new gasket when time permits! Upon further investigation, the bloody sump nut was only half in, now tight and no leak! Idiot you might think....... well, when I returned from Germany the bike was transported a month before I came back and was taken to an old friend that owns a garage (Paradise Road Motorcycles in Downham Market, Norfolk) I asked him to mot the bike and give it a full service. I paid £225 for mot and service. Now as I didn't have an oil leak in Germany and I have not changed the oil since the service (March 2012) I only have one thing to say, VERY PROFESSIONAL OF YOU! ![]() |

Errr? So you've been tearing around with an oil leak directly in front of your rear tyre?
and if that sump nut had undone....................ooooooohhhhhhh that would have been hairy scary. |

Exactly! It looks like the fairing has been catching most of it, so I'm luck there and if the nut had fallen out at high speed I'd probly be pushin' up daisies by now!

Definitely plebs corner, you utter pleb! Don't care if it wasn't your handy work. It'd be like me drinking tea that tastes like p1ss for 5 months before finally catching the mrs using p1ss instead of milk to make it. Perhaps not my fault, but my own plebbishness for not getting to the bottom of the p1ss tasting tea sooner.
Yes, my analogies are normally odd, but you're still a pleb.

I would say it's like a lump of coal, at night, in the middle of a blackhole, calling the kettle black!
