Hi all!
Due to some absolute scrote driving into my parked bike and then driving off without leaving a note, I am in need of a clutch lever, gear lever, front indicators and (if I'm lucky) full fairing. I have a 2007 SV650s K6 in Yuclaise silver metallic (the light blue/silver colour). Help is mega appreciated on this one, I'm so angry about it I'm silent... P ![]() |

Hi Jammy,
Thanks for the response! From looking around the online shops, it doesn't look like it. No worries though, I have ordered one. I am in need of a replacement left-side fairing though. I've also taken a punt on a gear lever I hope will fit?! |

Which fairing panels are damaged and how damaged are they?
You thought about taking it to a decent local garage? Preferably a garage that may like a cash job to help cash flow? Regards Phil |

Hi Phil,
Only LHS fairing lower is damaged around the crash bung, as when it was knocked over, the force pushed the bung into the fairing and cracked it. I do have a local garage who can do plastic welding, but he's already told me it's not cheap. Thinking about ditching the lowers (selling the RHS) and replacing with just a belly pan. Was two weeks away from renewing my insurance and being able to afford a newer/nicer bike. Gutted. |

I take it you mean the standard fairing fixings? If you decide to keep the lowers, get yourself of R&G's, they will stand up to a lot more and will actually protect your fairings. How badly is the fairing damaged? Post a picture because proper plastic welding is expensive, if it is just some small cracks, they are cheap and easy to sort. You can even go as far as to use bridge-a-gap (fiberglass filler) or even fiberglass matting over the back as these bits wont be seen (though you wont be able to go too thick due to this being a mounting point for the fairing).
Regards Phil |

Awesome, thanks. Will post a pic of the damage tomorrow. I bought the cheap bungs, which bent the bar they fix to - I was told the R&G ones actually work... I will listen next time!

The fairing can also be repaired by using fibreglass on the rear of the panel and fillering over the front. It's not a perfect solution but a damn sight cheaper, it all depends how bad the damage is so get a photo up and we can advise you the best course of action.
