Default Recommended tyre pressures for PR2's?

Just wondering what pressures you guys are running in your Pilot Road 2's for hard road use?

I've been told to try them anywhere from 32F/36R to 36F/42R...

Run them either 33F/36R or 36F/36R

Dunlop recommend 41psi rear for Roadsmarts (different tyre, same market group), IMHO its too hard as the tyre doesn't flex

Ahh fair enough. The PS2's have quite a bit of flex I believe which is why a lot of people seem to be running them at 36/42, but that just seems a bit too hard on the rear for me?

if i'm not mistaken they are designed to flex as this is where you get the foot print. if they were to stay more rounded and harder then you get a much less contact patch.

Don't go too hard on the rear (I run no more than 36 for road) as you'll get squaring if you do motorway miles. Yes, I agree with Bib that the right pressure helps to keep the shape. For track you can go lower but not by that much. I think you can play around with the front a little but I run 32/33psi on road.

For hard road use, what does that mean, hard road use? As in very fast in a straight line? Or fast in corners? Or just hard on throttle?

They are touring tyres, not sport or hypersport tyres....
