That boy Stoner rides a motorcycle likes no other.

That rear end slide is like cosmic.

I suppose shame for Pedrosa but I'm sure his British fans will carry on....if he has any.

Lovely to see the podium:
Race winner - wins last home GP
2nd place - Secures championship
3rd place - Another solid podium for Carl

Next year, now next year I'm going to want to see. For all his moaning, Stoner will be missed at the sharp end, the man has a phenomenal talent.

I don't know why but Lorenzo irritates me. Well aware he has an awesome talent but his demeanor leaves me cold. For that reason alone I've been willing Pedrosa on in the latter half of the season when the Hondas came good again.

Too many of the races this year have been the same three out front by a country mile making it rather dull, especially compared to the Moto3 scraps. I seriously hope that Vale gets going on the Yam next year, Bradl continues his ascendancy and that Marquez upsets things.

I agree. MotoGP needs a good old fashioned kick up the ass.

Rossi needs to be at the front and we need to see racing.

Stoner and Pedrosa and Lorenzo are not racers. They always moaned when Rossi or Simoncelli was sticking it to them.

Stoner doesn't realise it is a popularity contest. Rossi does as his last two years results he doesn't deserve to race a moped never mind a factory Yam.

the problem will still be there next season as it will be lorenzo, pedrosa, rossi and poss marquez at the front.

Followed by Calvin and the other satellite teams. Will be interesting if dovi can get the ducati to work.
I'm not sure how he is going to feel about the front end with his late braking style.

It will be marginally more fun with some rossi shenanigans and a few more scowls from lorenzo and pedrosa. ( I think it was the first time I saw lorenzo smile on camera at philip island this season).
Couldve been worse.. someone could have swapped Ben Spies' bike for Lorenzo's ( that really wouldn't be very funny for lorenzo )

+1 arrogant S of a B! He always seems so f*cking smug with himself, always has... Never liked his personality, but you can't fault his riding...

Rossi even though he's been no where has still been the best rider on a Ducati in the last two years, almost enough to give him a factory ride on something decent. Does help he's a little bit popular and sells things...

All in though, I'm really looking forward to Marc Marques in Moto GP. I just hope he's quick enough to keep up with the other Spaniards cause he is a racer and help get in about them... I had hopes for Bradl this year but he's only been mid pack.

Here's to next year... Though I will miss Stoners riding, the boy has style on a bike!!!

I agree we need more fairing bashing rivalry to keep things interesting. I cannot lament more the retirement of Casey,I don't care what his personality is...he is out there to win races. He is a total class act.

Jorge is another love him or leave him kinda guy,but I assure you that he is not as arrogant as some might believe,(based on me seeing him interviewed on a regular basis on Spanish TV. He is not as on the edge as Casey but he is one fast and calculating rider.

I was devastated that my favourite little cherub binned it yesterday,he has had a great season. Very likely to go down as one of the greatest never to win the main title.

Cal should continue to shine next year and that Marquez kid trust me,is VERY fast and talented. He has shown Rossi like capabilities, recovering from big mistakes and then "ploughing" through the field to win races. He could be the nearest thing to a Casey that Spain will produce.
