Default Owenski's gone and got another one!

Nope not a Drz this time... Only managed to pick up a pointy SV haven't I!

An old forum friend as well, former SV forum member mousetrapper is no longer riding since having a daughter 18months ago. So this has sat idle in his garage for 18 month and with a little persuasion I've taken it off his hands.

So i introduce my new (old) SV.

IT may only have been 2 years buts its been 5 bikes ago since I had an SV, and what would you know its like riding a bike lol. Although Im definetly going to do a naked conversion, the clip on riding position is definetley not for me.

If I didnt need to winter reliabilty of the voodoo or EFI as Suzuki call it lol.I would prefer the "fixability" of the carbs but I couldnt buy a carb bike for what I paid for this.

Na man if anything this is to preserve the gsr, i need to ride all year round and as we as SV owners know, Suzuki's do not like winter... so it makes sense that I buy an SV lol. The pictures actually make this look a hell of a lot better than it is in the flesh, its had 18months with almost zero miles and before that its been half way around the world in all seasons by the looks of it. Since the photos have been taken I've removed the brake calipers, exhaust, and back end (subframe not wheels)... I dont mess about lol.

Fair dos, tis always rude to refuse a bargain when it slaps you in the face

Makes sense to have a workhorse, that GSR's way too pretty to salt and shake to death
