What a douche!

Im amazed it wasn't mistaken for a seal and eaten on the spot! That is one lucky dog, I love the face saving barks afterwards, like those people you see shouting abuse at others... but only from a safe distance lol.

Haha, absolutely. I can't believe he even turned his back on his dog while it was still in the water just metres from the Whale. They will roll up onto beaches o get at a seal, so I don't think any part of that was safe.

I did feel for the dude that was stuck on the rocks though...I wouldn't want to be in the water with them wearing flippers and being mistaken for a nice big seal!

I'm pretty sure the Orca would have been OK...

The Dog, perhaps less so...

Blimey, what a dingbat. Orcas are way too intelligent to mess about with. And as good as Labs are in water, I wouldn't rate its chances...

I certainly wouldn't want to be free diving with Orcas. They're more discriminating than bull sharks, but I wouldn't put it past them to have a little nibble.

Similar thing happened to my old dog in the river tees near the barrage. I was throwing sticks in the water for him when he was chased out by a seal!!! They hunt here as the barrage stops fish getting up the tees especially salmon. I never threw a stick in the water for him again but he still use to jump in for a swim.
