Default Heated grips - which ones?

Hey guys, i only recently passed my bike test and only had my sv just over a month, previously had a ped through last winter and my hands got frozen. This year already my hands are frozen and its not that cold yet, so just wanted to know opinions on heated grips? And if there are any brands which are best or which ones to avoid?

Currently in the process of fitting my R&G ones, cost me £38 off eBay i think it was.

The wiring is a piece of ****, just put the black one into the negative terminal of the battery, red one solder into the fuse box thing with the 2 spare terminals for ignition wiring ( orange )

but the hard part for me is putting on the damned grips! took me an hour and a half and blistered my hands shoving them on ( tight fit! ) probably did it wrong, probably should have used some sort of lubricant or something ( ha ) but yeah..

No it didn't, are you fitting it to a pointy S model?
Mine's pointy sport and the R&G set comes with a bracket that links onto the handlebar. Unfortunately cos I have clip-on handlebars there's not enough room to fit the bracket so I'm still not sure where to mount the bracket..
