The Org Go Mad in Essex (Friday 30 August - Sunday 1st September) - Details
That's... The Org Go Mad In Essex!
Here are all the details. For general chit chat please use the chat thread here http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=189797 Attendance thread here http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=200497 For specific questions please PM me. Friday 30 August - Sunday 1st September (That's the last weekend of the school holidays but after the bank holiday) Huntsman and Hounds at Althorne The location of the AR 2009 and 2012 http://www.huntsmanandhounds.co.uk/ Camping is about £5 per night, paid direct to the pub. The campsite is on the pub land and there are toilets and very basic showers. There is also a motel about a mile away. http://www.crouchvalley.com Briefing for EVERYONE at 10.15. Please move your bikes onto the hard standing car park to the side of the pub for the briefing ready to leave H&H at 10.30 sharp. Please aim to have a full tank of petrol. We won't have breakfast on site but first stop is a big Tesco and we will allow enough time to grab a sandwich or pastry and your lunch. There is petrol here but to save time we would ask you to fill up on Friday night if at all possible. Note: The lunch stop will be decided on the day depending on the weather and this will be advised at the briefing. If you plan to join us at either the lunch or tea stop then please PM me no later than Friday afternoon with your mobile number and I will text you a postcode on Saturday morning. Dinner on Friday will be in the pub or from the fish and chip shop a few miles away. There is also a supermarket in the nearest village. Saturday night will be the same again. Rideout on Saturday led by Supervox. The route will be a mash up of AR12 and AR09 with maybe a few new roads thrown in. Then Sunday morning, weather and hangover permitting, Supervox will do a run down to Southend on Sea for a spot of lunch. On Saturday night if it's dry I will set up the firebowl again in the field and people can bring their own beer along - the pub are fine with this. There are electrical hookups in the field if you wish to bring a camper van. So... who's up for a party? Disclaimer: There will no bikinis and we cannot guarantee that it won't rain on the ride.
