Default Which Brake Pads?

Once again i come to you all for your opinions/experience/advice!

Going to be swapping front sh@gged calipers for newly refurbed ones and might aswell replace the pads at the same time... Ive always been told to use (and like a sheep i have followed) EBC sintered pads as theyre better... but theyre pretty expensive too.

Im happy to pay for decent stopping power but just want a second (third, fourth) opinion too!

Im 17st kitted out riding a pointy, 75% of my riding is commuting on A roads with the occasional motorway jaunt, and 25% fun social riding (not quite track riding but we dont hang about)

So... answers on a postcard please!

Cheapest EBC I found on Ebay, delivered reasonably quick for the xmas period.

Not fitted yet, too busy fitting sat-nav / phone hard case power supply today.

I've been using these for the last 4 or 5 years. Do a decent job, good price too.

ebc hh front. When you need to stop quickly you don't want to be thinking, 'I hope these pads are good'

got a set with intentions to fitting but once they arrived i thought twice.

they are very very thin and about the same thickness as the EBC pads i was going to replace which are worn.

i'll more than likely chuck them on as a stop gap but it will be back to EBC when they are done.

i just wish EBC would make organic for K6> GSXR calipers.

I have Galfer discs and HH Galfer pads as they came as a set. Very, very impressed with the stopping power (as was a friend when compared to his standard pads). They do tend to grab and stop though at very low speeds compared to standard.
